My Job
"I really wear two hats at Brown-Forman. Primarily, I work as an internal process and strategy consultant as part of Brown-Forman’s Business Consulting Group. In this job I work with functional, geographical and brand teams to help these various areas of the organization address and answer key business questions and issues with which they are faced. In essence, the Business Consulting Group acts as an internal consulting firm to the various aspects of our business needing and requesting consulting work. The other hat that I wear is related to the Office of the CEO. In this role, I support and assist in key projects led by the CEO’s chief of staff.”
My Motivation
"There are constant opportunities to learn and grow. I am lucky enough to have a supervisor that gives me the autonomy to face new challenges every day and I am amazed that after three years, I still have many days when I leave work feeling I have learned something new."
My Contribution
The Business Consulting Group is responsible for helping the leaders of Brown-Forman’s business to look at issues and opportunities from a fresh perspective. As an internal consultant, I have the opportunity to be a jack of all trades, playing in a different sandbox with each project. Because of this variety, I’d like to think that I can lend broad and fresh perspective to projects I work on and the teams I work with.

My Environment
Brown-Forman is very team oriented. On any given project, I regularly rely on my colleagues to assist me in areas where I lack functional expertise. There is always someone just around the corner who is willing to help and who has a wealth of information to share.
